One day, while I was riding in my convertible,

Dex was about to set about his job of shredding cardboard for recycling when Macy had other plans.

Later, Gary found her sound asleep in her little piece of heaven.

Just what is it with cats and boxes? These squared objects do not occur naturally in nature. Naturally.

I was able to complete the puzzle (a Christmas gift). I didn't bust my butt getting a good picture of it because, really, which of you really gives a shit? And then I busted it up, stuck it in a bag (because I had compromised the box having to slit the security tape opening it) and packed it away. I will hand it off to my friend Pauline, who enjoys doing puzzles too - especially when they are free.

I was pretty strung out due to reasons I won't go into here but involving my loving husband who doesn't like a certain aspect of my personality which is normally considered an asset. It's not my artistic or musical ability either. Because those could grate on people - but he chooses to ignore them since they don't revolve around him. I was quite in need of a certain variety of refreshment and mixed tequila, orange juice AND fresca - just to be novel. It was very nice but did not reduce my anxieties - which my sweet adoring husband is pretty fed up with at this point - so I grabbed one of my very very nice bottles (sorry Jose - you hit the spot but you really aren't very nice on your own) and am currently enjoying Corralejo thanks so much for asking. (I just googled the price and am really upset that it costs so little in the USA. Of course, compared with Canada, everything alcoholic is sooo much cheaper in the USA - including prostitutes - joke -)

My remaining bottle of Jose will be donated to the birthday party to which I am not invited although my home has been commandeered unto. And the party of the third party will not be responsible for any untoward behaviour. Amen.

Do I sound a little pissed off tonight? No worries. By the time anyone reads this it will probably be Monday and I'll be enjoying a fresh kind of hell altogether.

Have yourself a merry little weekend! I will.

Macy is a beautiful cat . . almost Regal in her "HP" box . . . No wonder Dex loves her.
Hope you're feeling a little more mellow with Jose for company ;-)
I'm in the middle of posting what was meant to be my attempt at a "light-hearted musical interlude" as my last two posts were a bit heavy . . . and after more than two hours trawling I came up with Jaques Brel - Ne me quitte pas. . . Light-hearted? . . . Maybe it is by my standards ;-)
Enjoy "your" party!

Well I give a shit about your photo of your jigsaw. I'm on my second one since Christmas and I've already photographed the first one too.

I love the photo of Macy in the box. Look at those claws digging deeply into that box too! :D

I give a shit. I used to enjoy doing puzzles with my granny back home until she got too sick to concentrate on them. Your adult beverage party sounds good. My husband doesn't appreciate things about me that should be considered assets either. Men just really suck sometimes, ya know. Your cat is a cutie. Ours loves boxes too. Bought her a cat bed but she prefers a box. Go figure.

Our Cats would rather have boxes than almost anything!

I love puzzles. I am working on one now. We have a cat that loves paper bags. Put one down and he is right into it. The other cats like boxes but he is a bag cat.
