The kid is here - good kid - eats like a horse. He's still getting over the jet lag. It's crazy - we're putting sweaters on because it's not warm enough and he's taking his shirt off because he's too hot.
The sectional I bought is great - everyone loves it. Especially Winston. If you had a clue how perfect it is, you'd be jealous.
So today is the wedding. It's a 3 or 4 hour drive and there's no hotels to stay at there. Two someones have to stay sober to get us home again. And one of them is never ever me. Oh, and it turns out a bunch of the freakin gypsies will be there after all. So we definitely won't be staying late - there will be trouble once the drink starts to flow. Maybe they aren't having a bar? If that's the case...well
I'm also thrilled at the new paint colour especially now that I've painted the trim - looks very elegant. Hurts like hell now - I had to get fairly contorted to do some of it and my neck has paid the price. Worth it though.
April found me some 95% alcohol when she passed through the States back from BC for a visit. I can't wait to try out the tincture. I'm not sure how open to be while the kid's here. So far I've been discrete as per Cara's and Gary's advice but I'm not sure Sven got the memo...
